Diamondback

Newspaper layout.

The Diamondback is an award-winning student-run newspaper at the University of Maryland. During my time at the Diamondback, I gained great experience in editorial design. I worked on layout design and photography selection for the News section. My role included laying out the story order, art, and jumps for print and online editions. I met tight print deadlines requiring many late evenings. I gained a strong appreciation and respect for committed, organized and dedicated team members.
